HEROINE SISTER PROJECTS

MAY

Touring February 2018

The Heroine Project Presents is delighted to be supporting artist and activist Phoebe Kemp in her new show 'May', produced by Wyldwood Arts. This solo performance tells the true story of suffragette and wheelchair-user Rosa May Billinghurst: a one-woman whirlwind who redefined the fight for women's rights at the start of the 20th Century.

THPP Artistic Director Lizzie Crarer is mentoring Phoebe through the process.

'No Petticoats Here' is the latest show from critically-acclaimed folk musician Louise Jordan.

As the First World War centenary period draws to a close, this exquisite collection of songs tells the stories of ten remarkable women from the time. Based on Louise's extensive original research, and combining live and recorded sound, this show promises to be a folk theatre concert like no other.

THPP Artistic Director Lizzie Crarer directed the latest version of No Petticoats Here, currently touring.
