A very special site-responsive promendade storytelling performance.
Something really special came to Berkhamstead last autumn. We were commissioned by The Friends of St Peter's Great Berkhamstead to create a site-responsive show.
A journey into the mysterious, the intriguing and the downright scandalous stories hidden behind the headstones under the yew trees of this corner of Hertfordshire.
Rectory Lane is a Victorian cemetery, which has been closed since the mid-20th Century. The Friends of St Peter's have received a grant from the Heritage Lottery Programme to turn it from a dead space into a living garden of commemoration, open to all.
